Next week, on a special game break...

WiiU LogoWe'll have some fun new things at next week's game break. First off, we're borrowing a WiiU and games to play on it, so if you haven't had a chance to try out the newest Nintendo console, be sure to drop in. (I'm looking forward to the release of the next Smash Bros., currently in development, which may feature Wart (Super Mario 2) and other new characters). I hear NintendoLand is a fun bundle of mini games set in various Nintendo franchise game environments. We'll have the WiiU up on the big screen.Portal 2 logo

Secondly, the Xbox 360 will be set up with a pair of controllers and Portal 2. Portal was fantastic, and I can't wait to see how Portal 2 works with 2 players trying to figure their ways out of the dangerous rooms of Aperture Labs (yeah, I know this has been out awhile--I'm behind. Some of us have jobs and responsibilities, you know. Why, back in my day videogames were sold at Babbages in the noisy shopping mall food court--I'm not used to the modern ease of acquiring new games). Anyhow, if you haven't played any Portal at all, you need to come check this amazing first-person shooter-like 3D physics puzzle game. It's fantastic.

Please do come to game break next week, tell us what you think of these games and give us some feedback on what we can do to keep game break fun.
