Students in 3rd through 6th grade, write an essay about your favorite hero and have the chance to win a prize!  Essays must be at least 150 words long, and can be submitted in three ways: in person at the library (typed or handwritten), submitted in this form, or emailed to the school-age librarian at ejepson@apl.org. You may enter one essay. The last day to submit an essay is August 8.

All essays must include the following information: student's name, grade, school and city, and either a phone number or email address where we can contact you if you are a prize winner.

Three prizes will be awarded; a Kindle Fire, and two $25 gift cards to amazon.com. If a student's essay is chosen for a prize, they must pick it up at the Appleton Public Library. Prizes are provided by the Friends of the Appleton Public Library.
