Special guests from the Appleton Bilingual School will also be here to celebrate with small reading groups and activities! No knowledge of Spanish or English is necessary.

National Library Week

Celebrate National Library Week with us! April 14-19 we will be giving away fun APL totes at our service desks in celebration of National Library Week. Supplies are limited, make sure you stop by early in the week.

Children's Services is also teaming up with Culver's to host a coloring contest during the month of April. Children age 4-11 can participate by drawing a picture about their favorite book. It can be a character, event, scene or anything you liked about the book. Return the drawing to Appleton Public Library's Children's Services desk between April 1 and April 30 and receive a certificate for a FREE single scoop of Culver's Frozen Custard in a cake cone or dish to be redeemed at one of Appleton's Culver's locations. You'll also be eligible to win a special prize in a random drawing at APL. Pick up your color sheet at the Children's Services desk or download it here.
