Give a Child a Book

The Friends of Appleton Public Library's annual Give a Child a Book campaign begins Monday, November 3. The book drive, which is scheduled to go through December 7, gives children in need new books for the holiday season. With the help of the Salvation Army and The Boys & Girls Club, donated books will be dispersed to children in the Fox Valley area.

We ask that all books donated are new and are age appropriate for children up to 18 years. Paperback or hardcover books are accepted. The book drive donation box will be located at the front entrance of the library.

For those who would like to donate, but don't have the time to shop for books, cash or check donations are also accepted. The Children's Services staff will take all cash and check donations, purchase age appropriate books and add them to the donation box. Checks may be made out to "Friends of Appleton Public Library" and may be dropped off at the Children's Services desk.

Have a safe and happy holiday season!
