5   Writing on the Spot - Fast, Fun Prompt Writing  …Regretfully, Creative Journey has had to cancel August 5th’s previously scheduled writing workshop with Ellen Kort. We will be working to reschedule it at a later date, if possible.

19   Found Object Assemblage - bring in found objects (natural elements such as leaves and twigs, manmade objects such as broken pieces of machinery, anything that catches your eye) and use them to create a sculptural work of art.

26   Death of the Dream - PBS film by John Whitehead. Documentary featuring the vanishing farmhouses of the midwest. Traces the evolution of the classic farmhouse and charts the impact that changing economics have had on midwestern farm families. Discussion will follow the film.
