Mark off time spent talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing. There is no online option for this program. Prizes: When you have colored in all the images on your log, bring it to Children's Services to receive a free book.
Read at least 5 days each week: earn digital Badges, unlock Games, and complete optional Missions in the Online program; get stamps in your log in the Paper program. Prizes: The Print program has weekly participation prizes. Kids can do both the Print and Online programs.
Record each book you read. Qualify for the weekly drawing in the weeks you've logged a book. Prizes: Print and Online programs have weekly prize drawings. Qualify for the Fitbit Charge HR Grand Prize drawing and Omron Alvita Ultimate pedometer 2nd Place drawing by playing the Online program.
--Register online. Log your Reading to earn points, move up the leaderboard, get Badges, and unlock Games.
--The Kids' program has a bunch of great, optional Missions you can do for even more points and Badges.
--Aside from coming to the Library to pick up any prizes you might win, everything is online and you can play from anywhere.
--Similar to online, but everything is on paper instead: it's pretty much what you're already used to.
--Come to the Library to register. Babies & Toddlers, Kids, and Teens will get their Reading Log when they register. (Kids & Teens who are playing both the Online and Paper programs need only register for the Online program.)
--Kids and Teens should come back all summer long to get their log stamped and pick up weekly participation prizes.
--Adults must come to fill out their drawing slips with information on the books they've read that week.
