APL’s FlipSide is an online platform that showcases and shares local music. With your Appleton Public Library card number, you can stream or download music.
Anyone with a tie to the Fox Cities (Appleton, Kaukauna, Kimberly, Little Chute, Menasha, and Neenah) can submit to the FlipSide project – whether that means you live here, regularly perform here, grew up here, etc.
During open submission periods, upload a sample of your music using the online submission form. Artists must have at least 10 minutes of music available to be added to the collection. Our curators will review the music and consider it for inclusion in our collection based on a variety of criteria. You’ll be informed via email whether your music was accepted or declined.
