  1. This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for more than 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,700 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for more than 1,000 titles.

  3. If you have used ReferenceUSA, try AtoZdatabases for the same kind of information. "We are the ultimate search tool for jobs, businesses, mailing lists, & background searching available at libraries & government institutions."  Take a look at their introduction videos to help you get started with different tasks. Allows 1000 downloads at a time.


    You will not be able to bookmark the AtoZdatabases page itself, b/c part of the authentication process is that you arrive at their site from our site (we must be the refererer). So, if you bookmark that page and go directly there, rather than prompting you for your library card number, it will ask you to sign up as a paying user. You can bookmark any of our eLibrary pages to take you to AtoZdatabases for it to work correctly. 

  4. Use for Business

    Business Source Premier is the industry’s most used business research database, providing full text for more than 2,300 journals, including full text for more than 1,100 peer-reviewed titles. This database provides full text back to 1886, and searchable cited references back to 1998. Business Source Premier is superior to the competition in full text coverage in all disciplines of business, including marketing, management, MIS, POM, accounting, finance and economics. This database is updated daily on EBSCOhost.

  5. Gale Courses, based off the popular ED2Go platform, offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online. As a library card holder in good standing, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses typically run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.

    Record of Completion: if you complete 60% of the quizzes and get at least 80% on the final exam on your first try, you can print or save a certificate of completion. Certificates & Reports are always available in your “Previous Courses” list.

  6. Use for Business, Money

    This resource can be used in place of our previous subscription to MorningStar Mutual Funds which had only been accessible inside the Library building. A paper version of MorningStar Mutual Funds is no longer issued. MarketWatch is a free alternative which includes a mutual fund screener and a search box at the top-right of each page that allows you to enter symbols or keywords.

  7. Use for Business, Newspapers

    Newspaper Source Plus includes 1,520 full-text newspapers, providing more than 28 million full-text articles. In addition, the database features more than 601,300 television and radio news transcripts, videos & podcasts.

  8. Use for Business

    This database provides comprehensive full text coverage for regional business publications. Regional Business News incorporates coverage of 75 business journals, newspapers and newswires from all metropolitan and rural areas within the United States. This database is updated on a daily basis.

  9. Use for Business

    Access the much more user-friendly interface by connecting through EBSCOhost and then scrolling down to click on "Small Business Reference Center."

    This database offers a wide variety of information on small business and entrepreneurial subject areas, common business types, a help and advice section, and provides information on how to create business plans that lead to successful funding.
