Kits
Each kit contains books and fun, educational materials designed to encourage exploration of a particular topic.
Who can borrow a kit?
Anyone who loves hands-on learning. Kits were designed for children ages 2-12, but all curious minds are invited to give them a try. They can be borrowed for home or classroom use. Kits MUST be picked up and dropped off at the Appleton Public Library.
How do I get a kit?
Here is a link to the kits in the catalog. Simply choose one you are interested in, place a hold on it and follow the directions you receive in your email.

Kits don’t fit in the outside book drop. To return a kit, arrive at the library during curbside hours, (9:15 am – 6 pm Monday – Friday, 9:15 am - 5 pm Saturday) and place the kit on the cart outside the front doors. Call 920-832-6179 to let staff know that you have left the kit outside.

The kit will be quarantined for 24 hours based on current scientific research.

5 kits can be checked out at once per library card.

Kits check out for 14 days.

You may renew each kit up to 3 times either over the phone or online.

All materials are subject to the normal fine policy.
