Kits

What is a kit?

Each kit contains books and fun, educational materials designed to encourage exploration of a particular topic.

Who can borrow a kit?

Anyone who loves hands-on learning. Kits were designed for children ages 2-12, but all curious minds are invited to give them a try. They can be borrowed for home or classroom use. Kits MUST be picked up and dropped off at the Appleton Public Library.

How do I get a kit?

Here is a link to the kits in the catalog. Simply choose one you are interested in, place a hold on it and follow the directions you receive in your email.

  • The kit will be quarantined for 24 hours based on current scientific research.

  • 5 kits can be checked out at once per library card.

  • Kits check out for 14 days.

  • All materials are subject to the normal fine policy.
