Los Tsev (Home): Cia Siab (Hope) in Wisconsin Curriculum

We’re excited to unveil a new special collection on Fox Valley Memory: “Los Tsev (Home): Cia Siab (Hope) in Wisconsin Curriculum.” This educational resource is designed to preserve and share the stories of the HMoob (Hmong/Mong) community in Wisconsin.

Created to complement the traveling exhibit Cia Siab (Hope) in Wisconsin: A HMoob (Hmong/Mong) Story, this curriculum invites educators, workshop organizers, and community members to explore the untold histories and lived experiences of HMoob Americans in Wisconsin, with stories centered around the Secret War in Laos, intergenerational trauma, storytelling, and cultural identity.

The curriculum features three engaging lessons enriched with exhibit artifacts, providing a deeper, more meaningful understanding of HMoob history and heritage.
