Propose a program
We connect people with a world of ideas and information by developing and presenting programs that provide opportunities for learning and entertainment.
We offer flexible spaces for dynamic programs, including in-person presentations, virtual programs, and hybrid experiences. We invite you to share a proposal for a program you’d like to present in partnership with the library by filling out the form below.
Additionally, you may book conference or study rooms independently or make a request to book the Mary Beth Nienhaus Community Meeting Room.
Details:
- Please review our programming policy before submitting your proposal. If you have questions about this process or library programs, please contact us.
- Programs are typically scheduled two to four months in advance. We’ll review submissions and select programs in accordance with our budget and programming policy. We’ll contact presenters if there’s an opportunity to schedule a program. Letters of regret will not be sent.
- Presenters are required to electronically sign a performance contract. Some programs may require the presenter to supply the City of Appleton with a certificate of insurance.
- We can offer an honorarium, payable after the successful completion of the program, thanks to the support of Friends of the Appleton Public Library. Paid presenters are required to submit a completed W-9 form upon scheduling the program. Additionally, we warmly welcome program presentations offered at no cost.
