Kits for Kids

    Kits for Kids contain books and fun, educational materials designed to encourage exploration of a particular topic.

    Who can borrow a kit? 

    Anyone who loves hands-on learning. Kits are designed for children ages 2-12, but all curious minds are invited to give them a try. They can be borrowed for home or classroom use. Kits must be picked up and dropped off at the Appleton Public Library.

    How do I get a kit? 

    Use the button below to see a list of kits in the catalog. Simply choose one you are interested in, place a hold on it and follow the directions you receive in your email. 

    What else do I need to know?

    • Kits must be picked up and dropped off at the Appleton Public Library. 
    • Five kits can be checked out at once per library card. 
    • Kits check out for 14 days.
    • You may renew each kit up to 3 times either over the phone or online.
