Microfilm reels of Appleton’s various newspapers go back to the mid-1800s.
We have one microfilm reader located along the north wall near the front of the building (go to your right after coming through the front doors). The microfilm reels are in large, steel cabinets next to the reader.
Email content to yourself or save to a USB for free from the microfilm reader, or pay 15 cents per page to print.
The microfilm station is self-serve. Staff can provide brief guidance if you are unsure how to load the reels or clip your articles.
